Creator Science Branding
Over the years, Creator Science has become one of the most trusted voices helping creators turn their content into profitable, scalable businesses. Jay Clouse has built an extensive library of resources from podcasts to communities to courses, investment syndicates, and more.
After growing the business and expanding the brand, Jay reached out to me to create a visual identity that truly reflected the quality, personality, and community of Creator Science and brought all of his projects together under one cohesive brand.
Inspired by the engaging, experimental, enjoyable nature of retro learning formats, I crafted a complete brand identity that brings the Creator Science world to life.
Brand strategy
Experiment. Connect. Create.
An initial illustration project to create a brand mascot for Creator Science revealed the core goal of the business: be a helpful, inspiring guide who can teach creators how to get from point A to point B through experimentation, education, and connection, so they can share the best of themselves and earn a living doing it.
This focus on helpful, educational, fun guidance led to the creation of a brand exploring the visual cues from the CRT screens we used to learn from (think video games with helpful sidekicks, school lessons on a rolled-in TV screen, or learning from your favourite Saturday morning cartoon.)
Brand identity
Individual logo → elevated logo system
With so many projects, one logo wasn’t enough for Creator Science, and individual, unique logos would lead to confusion around the brand. Instead, we took one individual logo and created an elevated upgrade with a complete, expandable system for each sub-brand to work within.
All of the Creator Science sub-brands have their own unique symbol incorporating the atom from the primary logo, and fit into a variety of formats, from icons to badges to stand-alone logos that can be used in any situation such as stickers, community icons or merch for example.
Brand application
An environment for education and experimentation
To immerse you in the educational environment of Creator Science and its mascot, Tubey, I crafted a complete world for the brand. As well as the traditional brand elements like logos, colours, and fonts, Creator Science has a full set of patterns, textures, backgrounds, illustrations, imagery, photo direction, and other brand elements that come together to create this educational world.
This identity was then applied across the business, including social media profile graphics, post templates, community branding, podcast artwork, event graphics, blog post headers, newsletter section dividers, video graphics, and more. Jay also worked with Martin Cris to apply the brand to his website.

In the end, Jay now has a complete, comprehensive, cohesive brand that him and his team can keep consistent as they continue to grow Creator Science. In his own words, he’s obsessed with this rebrand, and that’s a win for him, me, and everyone who has the privilege of encountering Creator Science!
